ACAX’s major scope of operation are: residency programs, visitor programs, study trips, organization of exhibitions and projects in collaboration with international contemporary art institutions and the preparation and provision for Hungarian participation in international biennials and other significant shows. |

Within the framework of ACAX | Agency for Contemporary Art Exchange and International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) collaboration two Hungarian artist are invited to spend a 2 and a 3 months' residency at ISCP in New York between 1st of September and 31st of January 2011. The grant covers the travel and accommodation costs and the studio use. The program is organised and financed by Ludwig Museum / ACAX with the support of TMU (Trust for Mutual Understanding). |

| Gasworks Studios, LondonIn the framework of ACAX and Gasworks collaboration starting in the autumn of 2010 one Hungarian artist will spend 3 months residency in the Gasworks. 12 artists applied for the residency. In the preselection process Alessio Antoniolli (director, Gasworks) and Catalina Lozano (residencies coordinator) have choosen Csaba Nemes's, Tímea Oravecz's, Andrea Schneemeier's and Péter Szabó's application. The final decision was made by Alessio Antoniolli and Catalina Lozano. Recipient of the Gasworks residency is: Csaba Nemes. |

From the 16 applications SEACEX preselected the following candidates: Javier Duero, Iván López Munuera, Inma Prieto and Manuel Segade. In a second round, upon the decision of Ludwig Museum / ACAX, Iván López Munuera was selected, who will participate in the curatorial residency program at Ludwig Museum / ACAX in Budapest during March 2010. The program is organised and financed by Ludwig Museum-Museum of Contemporary Art / ACAX | Agency for Contemporary Art Exchange. |
